Thanks so much for your prayers.  It’s become clear that there is a need for 5,000 copies of my Spiritual Warfare Handbook in India so that’s the direction I am going.  The translation work started today.  Then will come the typesetting and actual printing.  Money is needed up front to get and keep this project moving.  I know this is what God wants me to do so I know He will provide.  But I also know He wants me to ask Him to provide and not just presume upon His goodness.  Please join with me in praying for His financial provision.  Remember, though, that if God wants this to go ahead then Satan doesn’t.  He wants to keep his prisoners in darkness and bondage.  So please also pray for God’s protection of this project and everyone involved with it.

Thanks so very much!

Dear Friends,

Thanks so very much for your prayers and support for the work in India.  The pastors conferences we are sponsoring continue for both the pastors we ministered to before as well as new conferences for pastors who weren’t at the ones I led.  Pastor Moses is teaching the same material I used when I was there.  Your donations make that work possible.  One church has been built and others repaired.  We were able to contribute to this important work.  There will be more pastors conferences in the next month as well.

I need prayers for wisdom for a special new project that has just developed.  Since returning home there have been many positive comments about how the spiritual warfare training has helped the pastors who came to the conferences.  I have been doing some counseling through email but that is very limited because of the language difference and since most don’t have email. Still, what we have been able to do has been greatly used by God.  Recently God has put it on my heart to have my Spiritual Warfare Handbook translated into Telegu, the common language of that area of India, and made available to the pastors as well as church members there.  The demonic oppression is strong but God’s power is greater.  His people need to know how to have victory over the enemy in order for God’s Kingdom to keep advancing.

I have cut the handbook back to about 90 pages to make it more affordable but they don’t want any more material removed.  The estimates to have it translated and printed in India are much, much lower than the estimates for doing it in the USA.  Still, it amounts to a great deal of money, several thousand dollars.  It would be a full size book with color cover.  To make a thousand copies would average out to about $4 per book.   To make 5,000 copies would make it about $1.50 per book.  They all assure me that interest in the book would be so strong and the benefit so great that 5,000 books would be gone in 2 to 3 years.  A nominal fee would be charged for the books so copies wouldn’t be wasted and to start gathering money for a future printing.

To be honest, I just don’t know what to do.  The fact is that our India fund doesn’t have nearly enough money for either of these options.  So please pray I would have wisdom to know what God wants me to do about this.  Also pray He would provide the funding for whatever He wants done.  This is not a fund raising letter nor a hint for donations.  If God lays that on your heart that is fine and greatly appreciated.  But mainly we need prayer for guidance and to ask God to provide from whatever sources He chooses.

Thanks again for your prayers and support.  Please keep praying for our brothers and sisters in India!

In His service,

Jerry Schmoyer
