Monday, June 30 READ REV. 8:1-5

  • How do these verses show that our prayers are always heard by God, even if we don’t think so at the time?
  • What prayers of yours haven’t been answered?
  • How should you respond to that?
  • PRAY Thank God that all prayers done in His will will be answered.
  • Pray for each one who was at World View to stay true to their commitments.

Tuesday, July 1 READ REV. 8:6-9

  • Why would God do this to nature?
  • Why should we take care of nature now if we know God will one day destroy it all?
  • Why did God create nature in the first place?
  • PRAY: Thank God for your favorite parts of nature.
  • Ask God to bless the Maugers as they come to stay with us until the end of the summer.

Wednesday, July 2 REV. 8:10-12

  • List all the judgments in verses 7 - 12.
  • Why don’t people repent even with all this?
  • PRAY Pray for God to bless our Bible Study time tonight.
  • Pray God would continue to bless and use our church for His glory in all we do.

Thursday, July 3 READ 8:13

  • If God is a God of love, why does He judge people?
  • If God is going to judge, why not do it quickly and get it over with, why wait and then draw it out?
  • PRAY Thank God for withholding judgment so you could come to Him for salvation.
  • Pray for those you know who are still under judgment.
  • Pray that God would continue to bring new people to our church and that we would welcome them in love.

Friday, July 4 READ REV. 9:1-12

  • Why are they now chained up?
  • Why will God release them?
  • Why will they attack their own people, unbelievers?
  • PRAY Thank God that you are safe from Satan’s destruction. He can attack and injure you, but never destroy you.
  • Continue to pray for the teens who were at World View.
  • Ask God to continue to provide for our financial needs.
  • Pray for the men as they meet to pray and study tomorrow.

  • Why does God allow people to see these demons?
  • Why are they so fearful?
  • How does Satan use fear to attack you in your life?
  • How can you have victory over that?
  • PRAY Confess your fears to God, name each one.
  • Ask God to give you strength and peace to defeat them

  • Why did God’s word turn sour in his stomach?
  • When do you have a hard time telling people what God says, especially when they won’t like it?

  • Why wasn’t Satan able to silence God’s witnesses?
  • What happened if someone tried to harm them?
  • Can Satan silence you?
  • Can anything silence you but you yourself?
  • PRAY Ask God to give you courage to speak for Him.
  • Pray for God to bless our church and use us for His glory.

  • After protecting these witnesses, why will God allow them to be killed? How does this make sense?
  • How will God use their death for His glory?
  • How might God use your death for His glory?
  • PRAY Thank God that He has a plan for your death as well as your life.

  • Why will we be praising God for these particular things?
  • Write your own praise song to God now.
  • PRAY Make your praise song your prayer to Him.

  • PRAY: Thank God for the victory and protection you have over Satan and his forces.

  • Self-condemnation is pride. When does it attack you?

  • Who gave him ‘power’ and ‘authority’ (God or Satan)?
  • Why was it given?
  • Why will everyone worship the beast instead of Jesus?
  • PRAY: Is there any area where you are withholding praise of Jesus?
  • Make sure Jesus is the only one with any power or authority over you.

Friday, July 25 READ REV. 13:9-10

  • What does it mean ‘he who has an ear, let him hear’?
  • Who decides what will happen to believers on earth?
  • In what areas of life do you need ‘patient endurance’?
  • PRAY: Ask God to fill you with His Spirit so you have more patient endurance.
  • Ask God to fill you with His Spirit of faithfulness.

  • What details do these verses add about the Antichrist?
  • Why is the victorious Jesus called the ‘Lamb’?
  • PRAY: Think about Jesus the Lamb Whom we learned about earlier in Revelation. Picture that same Jesus as the One who comes in revenge and defeats Satan and His forces. Worship and praise Him for this.

  • Why would the False Prophet want to get everyone to worship the Antichrist? What was his motive? What was in it for him?
  • Is there anyone you ‘play up to’? Why do you do it?

  • God doesn’t have to do anything to bring judgment on a person, all He has to do is stop restraining sin in him.

  • PRAY Thank God for His active restraint against sin today or life would be so much worse.
