Thanking God in His Love Language

(Monday, Nov. 21, 2011)  We have often heard about the importance of knowing our mate’s and children’s love languages so we can accurately communicate our affection to them. Recently I’ve been thinking about what God’s love language might be so we can better let Him know our love. Especially at Thanksgiving, its important to accurately communicate our appreciation to Him the best way possible. Just what is that? What communicates our love to Him in the most effective way? Let’s look at the love languages and see how to use them as we worship God. 1. Verbal Affirmationrefers to using words of praise to communicate love. For some spoken or written words deeply touch them and mean a lot. God asks us to show love in this way (Psalm 66:4) and we do so when we sing or pray words of love and praise.
